Right outside the Farafra Oasis is a natural spring--we drove there to swim and eat lunch
The cement on the side was searing hot from the sun, so as soon as I took my shoes off I jumped right in. What I didn't realize was that this was a HOT spring! Instead of cooling me down from the oppressive mid-day desert heat, it only amplified it!
