My friend Chris and I both had a ton of frequent flyer miles from work and decided to cash some in for some trekking in the Peruvian Andes. In November of 1998 we set off for the land of the Inca, our sights set on trekking the Inca Trail to reach those most famous ruins of all, the ancient city of Machu Picchu.
